Cadets and loves it. The drilling, the uniform, the chance to go camping.
He's right on top of his school work and doing great in junior high.
Brenna, an "A" student
in 5th grade, has impressed her teachers with her story writing skills.
Read one of her assignments here: BRENNA
She's looking forward to spending
some time with her horse next month.
Erin, the college kid, is doing
well in school, even while struggling with the intricacies of German
syntax.
To benefit a wonderful cause,
the Locks of Love, Erin donated her hair for making free human hair
wigs for kids who lose their hair from cancer treatments. Bless you
Erin! What a great idea!

Cael took Grandma Jean to Hawaii
last month by combining a business with a pleasure trip. They had
a great time and even
scouted out the old landmarks
from when we'd lived there in the 1950S. PHOTOS

her father Tim. And, according to the sonogram, she's going to have
a boy.

took the state test and scored a new record high. In his spare time
he continues playing with his band and teaching karate to 5 and 6 year
olds. Linda is happy teaching HS English and Tim continues to work
300 hours a week.

Even Scotty, as Spiderman, couldn't
stop the flooding and 50 MPH
winds of Isadore from filling the Griffiths' yard full of tree branches
requiring a 4 hour clean up. The storm kept the family home from
school and work for a couple of days.
Other news: Shawn quit
football to concentrate on pole vaulting and getting employed. Megan
is 1st team varsity center in volleyball. As part of a school program
in childhood development she does 2 hours of day care per day...and loves
it. Elizabeth is hooked on drama and has joined the Thespian Club.
She also brought home an A in Honors Geometry as one of only 4 freshman
in the school taking the course.

San Francisco
Cael and Marcella continue to make
progress on refurbing the 1906 Victorian house they bought in the Mission.
The cottage on the back of the lot is nearly done. They've turned
it from a run down wreck to a bright, attractive unit. Little Liam had
a bad bout of asthma a couple of weeks ago which landed him in the hospital
but he is back on the mend. Seamus and Frances continue to excel in school
and Rosemary is a minute sized ball of fire. Here's how she answers
the request for a smile:
