That's the news!  Aunt Chib begins a new position as Assistant Principal of Carmel Elementary School.  It means more hours, more responsibility,  more money and far fewer miles to drive.

Above, Erin and boyfriend Aaron celebrate her accomplishments and make plans for her move to San Diego and the dorms at SD State.

Right:  Our own Chib in a much earlier time.  Any guesses to how much??

Valley Center

Pat and Tammy had two birthdays to celebrate just three days apart.  Michelle, a very lovely young lady and a budding jazz musician enjoyed her 14th birthday.  Timothy Patrick  kicked off his first year with a pair of good looking hats.
Meanwhile, Poppa Pat has now completed 100 appraisals and they are busier than ever.  Good Luck Pat & Tammy...and the growing family!

In addition to being a strong baseball player, Frances also has a flair for thespian activities. She recently played a lady preacher

Not satisfied with playing ball and acting Frances also paints.  Here is a portrait she did of yours truly that she gave me for my birthday.  Oh, to see oneself through the eyes of a child! Below:  Liam, as serious as he gets for the camera.

in a fine production of Guys and Dolls.  The whole cast was outstanding!

Five years ago we cheered Mary Kate as she received her BA at UWF. What a proud day!

That same year Dan graduated from Catholic High and the Twins graduated from St Michaels.

Now all are working and going to school  and in some cases...both.
Whew!  Tempus Fugit!

San Diego
Janna also graduated 5 years ago and has been a mother for the past two years caring for James Timothy. Now she's working for her Dad in the mortgage brokerage business.  She says she loves it but hates the time away from little James.
Loris Mae Orton was a student at BYU 5 years ago when we went to Utah for a visit.  She finished school, became engaged, got married and is now expecting their second child.  Their first child, Logan, celebrated his 2 birthday this month.

This is the '97 VW I bought in Yucaipa for my cross country trip this fall.

As to the sign on the left, I say: "Huh?".
