NOTES
There have been many celebrations, visits, travels and important events this month.    Brendan and Michelle reached 12.  Elizabeth was confirmed and reached the awesome age of 15.  Mike, the San Diego County Champ, won the championship on his 16th birthday.  Which means a driver's license isn't far behind.  Erin celebrated her 19th birthday and began her last year as a teenager.

Liam and Carmen took their boys to Costa Rica for 2 weeks to meet relatives and friends including their remarkable great grandmother.

Cael and Marcella took their gang to Disneyland for several days of fun.  After the Magic Kingdom the San Francisco Westons drove to Victorville to visit with Chib and family.  Linda, Janna, Little James and Ryan dropped in for the party filling Chib's big house with relatives.

Chib brought Brenna and Dylan to Rocklin for my birthday party on the 12th.  Cael and his family came as did Aunt Odette, Michael, Jean Pierre, Mimi and Ryan.

Later, I drove to San Diego for a little mano a mano time with Mike, Pat and Tim.  Chib, who had flown up for the party,  rode back south with me, while Brenna and Dylan went to visit their father.

After my visit with the boys I brought Michelle back to Rocklin where she stayed a few days, entertaining everyone with her trumpet playing and debating skills.

NOTES cont'd
There were so many things going on in May that I may have missed some of them, but none of the really important ones, I hope.  I spent nearly half the month traveling, first to San Diego by myself and then to Florida and South Carolina with Kathryn. Tomorrow we drive to Port Hueneme to watch Dominique collect her BA and Juan Carlos win his MA. That's one reason why this edition is coming out on the 20th.  But then, who said we have to stick with a schedule?   I'm retired.  I make my own schedules.

So, I give thanks that everyone in the family is healthy, mostly employed, and busy raising families of his/her own.  Speaking of which, we expect to hear from Loris any moment announcing the arrival of the second great grand child.

To the left are some links that you might find useful, entertaining and fun.
