VICTORVILLE NEWS
With the school bus that Liam bought and modified for skiers he has formed the Black Diamond Ski Club and plans to be visiting Loveland Ski Resort (one lift soars over 13,000 feet), Snowy Range in Wyoming, Winter Park, Breckenridge, Ski Cooper, Copper Mountain and maybe Aspen.

All of this while serving as Chairman of the USCC Space Enterprise Council.  Carmen and the boys (including Alphonso their guest from Spain) are busy with studies, sports and duties.  Alphonso has made the local paper several times for his basketball skills.  He and Kevin are concentrating on their GPA scores so they can earn a drivers license.

Liam and Caleb on top of the mountain.

Shawn is making some serious money refurbishing condos on the beach.  He's working 60 hours week which means overtime.  He drives a forklift moving materials and other jobs.  His girl friend, Mallory, is from Washington state and is attending school in Pensacola with plans to be a nurse.

Mary Kate was surprised recently to find herself referred to as "hot Scotty's Mom" at Scotty's school. Scotty evidently knows how to make friends.   In addition to grading 120 10th grade essays recently, Mary Kate created a tiger costume for Elizabeth's play thereby earning an unwanted reputation as a great seamstress.

Elizabeth was inducted into the National Honors Art Society which requires members to be honor students with a demonstrated love of art.
Elizabeth won a speaking part in the latest play produced by the Thespian Group.  She'll be going to state competition with that group in  April. Congratulations Elizabeth!

Megan continues to work full  time as a pharmacy technician and carry a full schedule at college.
Our Megan  also drove the 8 hour trip to Jax...alone. Way to go Megan!

Big Scott proudly coached a winning soccer game in which Scotty played.

Chib continues work on her MA and Admin Credential nights while teaching days.  She will graduate in July.  Great work Chib!

Erin earned straight As in English, Speech and Art during the Inter session.  Another semester and she'll be headed for the university.  This  term, her last one in VVCC, she'll take on Chemistry, Math and Geology which is enough to keep a good student busy.

Brenna continues as an almost straight A student and rides her horse weekly.

Dylan is working on his studies with the help of a tutor and continues to improve on his guitar.

Who can name these 5 lovely girls?

MOUNT SHASTA NEWS

The Mt. Shasta Westons have so many projects going on that it's difficult to keep track of them.  Seamus is filling his winter with snow boarding, Frances is skiing, Liam is playing basketball and Rosemary has her pre school.
Marcella is looking forward to an April delivery.
Cael has two newly refurbished ski cabins for rent.  They are very spacious and fully equipped and within walking distance to town.  He's remodeling one of their commercial/residential buildings for summer occupancy and has another commercial building fully rented.  He also has a project going on in San Francisco where he is a partner in refurbishing a Victorian.
Liam (in the orange top) drives for the ball.
The family at a Lenten Parish Dinner.

Cael took me snow shoeing across the lake we swam in last summer.....great fun!
Skiing on Shasta. Disaster! I lost my legs since I last skied.  More skiing is the cure!
Back to CO.  Is this why Liam bought that big yellow bus? Free parking?

Hi fellow viewers.  I'm sorry it took so long to publish January's page.  As you can see I received some really nice photos and I put most of them on the page for your viewing pleasure.

I still welcome comments, suggestions, submittals, photos and news dealing with the extended family and everyone in it.

Thanks,
