San Francisco
Cael and Marcella's bought Oh! Java Caffe, a coffee house
and
internet
cafe. Seamus and Frances work the counter and are earning some
awesome tips. Liam began kindergarten and Rosie can't wait for
her turn.San Diego
Mike Jr. had a full summer starting with a week in Utah
visiting his
first nephew, ( exciting trip...an engine caught fire requiring an
emergency landing) then a month at wrestling campin MN, followed by a week with his girl friend's family in LA, and finally to New York with his other Grandfather. Loris sent photos of Logan James Orton,. Valley Center
Pat and Tammy continue to refurbish their home with major
changes to
house and property. Michelle plays her trumpet in the band &
hopes to soon join the jazz band. Leucadia
James now has 6 teeth and a great curiosity about what's
on top of the table. Ryan reports it now time to child proof the
house and give the lad something to keep him busy. Linda began
teaching a new school year and Janna is looking for part time work.Pensacola
Mary Kate and Scott are redoing their house...floors,
cabinets, counter
tops....a major fix up. Meanwhile Shawn and Megan work full
time, Elizabeth busies herself at home and Scotty runs around having
fun.Victorville
Dylan spent a month working with his father in
Oroville. He also
added height. He's just shy of 5'8"!Brenna spent a month with Grandpa and Kathryn in Rocklin. We visited the lake, slide park, zoo, San Francisco and saw lots of movies. Erin is concentrating on college classes and as many hours as she can work at the local hamburger emporium. Colorado
Liam , Carmen and the boys boarded the motor home and
visited Southern
California. They camped in Mission Bay for a few days and got
together with Pat and family and Mike. They also spent a night
with Chib in Victorville and spent a couple of days at
Disneyland. Kevin made a name for himself as the Kereoke
King. I'm hoping to put a video clip of his performance on the
next
update of the family site.Rocklin
Kathryn and I attended my 50th high school reunion in
Jackson where I
met a couple of friends I hadn't seen in 50 years. Some things
and some people never change. It was a great 2 day event. Brenna
was with us for a month and Frances for a week. We went to Lake
Tahoe for 3 days to the Shakespeare Festival and stayed in Mike's time
share. We had a great time. The girls swam in the pool and
waded in Lake Tahoe.Note from the

August 2003 page, I'm going to be gathering news and photos early in
the month for the month just passed instead of the current month.
Therefore I'll be pestering you for news about what has already happened and I'll look hopefully for photos of significant events early in the succeeding month. Remember, silence is assent. |
